intake manifold question

I am working on a ww11 wc 1/2 truck. When taking apart the engine I broke the intake manifold. It is a 230 engine but not original to the truck. the original intake had a center block that is a lot taller than the replacement intake that I purchased. Will this work or is there a spacer that I need to lift the carb up higher?
