Gordon in Scotland...

Hi Gordon, I found a 1940? V series 4x2 and it appears to be original..I know it's military because it has the pintle hitch still on the frame, it looks like a 1.5 or 2 ton but the ID plate is gone..also no apparent provision for the grill guard...what model do you think it is? I can buy it for next to nothing and I have a good ww2 cargo bed from the VF-402 I believe would be correct for it..I have never seen a 4x2 WW2 dodge..like this one...I don't have a picture but will get some when my new camera arrives..
