If you look at the ladder there is a sign that tells about the history of the truck. I took a picture of that close up and I will put it and the other pictures I have on an album and post it on the next forum.
The fire truck body was built by P.E. Van Pelt Company in Oakdale, CA. I believe that is the same company that built the fire bodies on Ken Weza's and Don Evans Power Wagons.
By the way, for any that didn't figure it out, the initials on the hood stand for William Randolph Hearst.
