The most that engine can actually use is about 500cfm, but bigger carbs will give a faster jump when they pop open, though you risk a bog(hesitation) if to big, too fast. I prefer the smaller carb, imho. You'll need numbers off your carb to figure it out, then go to Edelbrock site.
