Or, ask a ton of questions, keep in contact with him, and if it does not sell, make him a low offer that you are comfortable with if you are unable to see the truck.

I drove 21 straight hours from Nj to Duluth, Minn to see my 53.

Remember, he needs to sell it, you don't need to buy it.
