woodie at car show

Saw Tom's power wagon woodie at the Good Guy's Del Mar Nationals. It was my choice for one of the top honors but some guy named Boyd Coddington picked something smaller. (and suspiciously, with Boyd wheels too)

I expected the woodie to be a good pick for owner-built award but the judges picked a plain looking street rod. And I knew the judging was biased when an award picked by some Dodge group or dealership (I couldn't make out the name because of the bad PA system) picked a Ford truck with a Chevy engine.

Got to meet Tom, he did an incredible job creating the truck.
