O.K. I have the truck, now I need to make myself litterate about it! I am a big believer in "RTFM" so I would like to get the proper manuals for my rig.
I have already put my hands on a 1957 Part Manual. Done.
I still need the mantenance for frame, chassis and motor. Seems that in the different service manuals, 1957 was skipped over! Here are the choices I found:
1- Owner's Manual for Dodge Power Wagon 1945-1971, item RBK-375 from VPW
2- Body: The New Dodge 4-Wheel-Drive Power Wagon Shop Manual Group 17: Hood, Fenders, Radiator Shell & Running Boards Group 18: Body, item NBK-376 from VPW (I guess it is not becessary with the proper service manual)
3- Motor: Chrysler Six Cylinder Industrial Engines Models Ind. 5, 6, 7, 8, 5A, 6A, 7A, 8A Maintenance and Parts Manual, item RBK-385 from VPW (Again, the proper service manual should cover the engine)
4- Chassis and drivetrain service manual, this is where I am puzzled. I could not find a direct reference to the 1957 K6-W300 model. Power Wagon advertisers has "Dodge Service, Third Printing" but it does not cover the engine.
Can someone tell me if the proper service manuals for a 1957 FFPW are still available, give me sources and catalog numbers?
Regards,
Mike
