ford flatheads common changes
5/16 = 5/16 over bore no stroke change
3/8x3/8 = 3/8 over bore 3/8 stroke increase
1/2x1/2 = 1/2 over bore 1/2 stroke increase
bore thru the water jackets, sleve
and rebore
was not uncommon to have early Hemis with 1/2 inch "ARMS" (stroke increase)
no one ever spoke about increased displacement in just the measurements
the 270 is a sweet little engine
