NP 540 5 speed could be found in old grain truck. Don't have casting number but shift pattern changes. 4 and 5 reverse if it is an o/d transmission. Chevy Ford and Dodge had them. Not as good as the newer ones. Lot of trans noise. Have one in my M-37 behind a sbc. Hope this helps. Dayle
