Wouldn't it make more sense to put the level hole on the top & the grease fitting on the bottom if that's really what they wanted though? Why would they show the knuckle being filled with a semi fluid lubricant dispenser as opposed to a grease gun & why would they call for "Semi Fluid Grease"?
See in this same manual they call for short fiber wheel-bearing grease in the wheel bearings as well as the pillow block of the rear PTO assembly...why wouldn't they call for the same thing in the knuckles if that's what they wanted?
It's all very confusing & contradictory.
