Who was going to offer floor mats?

Im getting older, so perhaps Im imagining things.

Wasnt someone taking names of persons interested in one piece floor mats for FFs, similar to the originals? I could swear I added my name to a long list of others.

What ever happened to that offering? Cost prohibitive?
