OT Mack B model

I found a big Mack B model locally for sale, very in expensive. It is in good shape. My question is which motor would it have? It says Thermadyne Diesel, and it has a turbo on the engine. It has tandem rear axle. Is it difficult to convert this over to a single rear axle?
