I have a W.W. Grainger, Inc. catalog from 1971. It is the size of a cheap paperback and about 5/8" thick.
I am not running anything yet. There is still salt on the roads. We are getting just enough rain now to make a potent salt brine for driving in, but not enough to wash the roads clean. I can not run vintage plates here in Illinois anyway unless I were to register my trucks as antiques. That would kind of defeat the purpose. Then, I would have to buy a modern (sic.) truck for hauling. So, the plates will have to be just for shows and parades. I am finding it is more fun to enter a POWER-WAGON in antique tractor shows than car shows. Those guys realize and appreciate the importance of vintage iron above turbo chargers and sound systems.
