Hi Mike,
Too true about folks wanting to sue and not take any responsibility for their own actions. I read the entire bible of winching, actually re-read as I have read it before. There is alot of good info there regarding the materials but very little practical info on their use. Perhaps for the reasons of liability that you mention. It is too bad, because an awful lot of these trucks have winches and there is not alot of info i=on safe and correct usage so people are left to learn by trial and error. And error can be final! I will cruise over to Pauls site and see what he has on the matter.
