I called the service help line today at Richmond gear..makers of the Lock Rite lockers...I wanted to inquire if there are any known or potential problems with installation of TWO lock-rites in the rear axles of my 6x6..ie: too much pressure through the t-case between axles, or other snafus...the guy I talked to was very nice and after I had to explain that I was installing them into a stock ww2 Dodge 6x6 he then siad..'geeze, I have never talked with or had any feedback form anyone with a 6 wheel drive'! He then surmised that they will probably work fine due to the inherent release ability of the lock rite. So, I told him, if I break the T-case I will let him know and I will send a report to Richmond on how they behave after the riggors of Moab!! I think they will be excellent in MUD, SNOW, and loose ground, but I am concerned with the exceptional traction available on the slick rock at Moab...I will be taking spare OPEN diffs, axles and a T-case in the event they tear something up!!
