Anyone ever hear of a T83 transmission?

I found this 5 speed in a junkyard. The shift pattern looks like this:

2 5 R
N
3 4 1

5th is overdrive. there is a casting on the side that says:

WARNER GEAR DIV.
MINCIE IND.
T 83-1 (this line is hard to read)

It also has a chelsea PTO on it.
I can find no reference to a T83 transmission on the internet, any one have any idea what application this transmission was used for?
