What are they? Are they one of the two kinds of U-joins they use in the hubs of the front axles? I know the older ones used a ball and socket arrangement whereas the newer ones use a simple non-CV U-joint that makes for some pretty wild steering action when turning sharply on a non-slippery surface with the transfer case engaged.
