I agree with your "read" on this. The "attitude" of sueing everyone is the key ingredient to the downfall of the economic strength of this country.
No one wants to try any endeavor for fear of "being sued". I have a friend who makes wood furniture and he is a tremendous craftsman. He made a wooden rocking horse for someone and their child was "slightly" injured while riding (read- abusing) it. He was sued for $15,000 and lost. What ever happened to people being responsible for their own actions and/or their children?
I for one am sick and tired of hearing about these lawsuits. Free enterprise is now all offshore thanks to the shortsightedness of all the "get rich quick" people in this country.
Wake up America, hard work is what made this country great!
