Hey Chris, Since I live in Oregon, I am unfamilliar with the reason behind closing the aquarium. I read on the website that it is to expensive to maintain and they will tear it down and build a new one. Wouldn't that be even more expensive? Besides, it is a grand old building worth saving. Any info you could send would be helpful. Thanks, birdo
