What is correct way to jump Pos to Ground with Neg to ground

Many of our older trucks are positive to ground. All modern vehicles are negative to ground. Assuming that both vehicles are the same voltage, what would the correct proceedure be to jump a negative to ground running vehicle, to a dead positive to ground vehicle?

Do you hook cables up pos to pos/neg to neg; or do you have to criss cross (Good vehicle neg to bad vehicle pos; and good car pos to bad vehicle neg)? Assuming same voltage.
