Advice wanted from the FFPW Critics

I have a powerwagon I am considering restoring back to new. It is in excellent shape overall. My question to the forum..what should I do with the rear boom ? I think it is a one of a kind, but I'm not sure it adds to the resale vs if I restored the original box. I was thinking of taking off the boom, but leaving the winches. Just looking for some advice from this shy community.
