Is there an index crediting photographers in them? Joans Dad was drafted in the early part of WW2. Just before he was to ship out to the Phillipines he was hospitalised with some ailment which required surgery. By the time he was out of the hospital, his unit had been pretty well annialated and ceased to exist as a functioning unit. Good timing on his part! The army sent him up to Alaska where he spent the rest of the war as a photographer. I have seen some of his pictures, alot of them are of eshimos and their villages etc. He spoke of going out to take pictures of plane crashes. His name was Edward Rabson. It would be pretty cool if any of his pictures were in the books.
