I ran into this problem on my 1/2 ton differential that is for my flatfender. I made a spacer out of 1/2" plate to compensate for the larger ring gear and used the origonal differental cover. I then put a gasket on each side of the spacer and used longer bolts. If you have some part I need I will make you one for the part.
