Hey everyone,
I am going to seriously start thinking about buying my hauler truck and have some questions to anyone that drives/have had/sells international medium duty trucks.
I would like it to be under 26,000 so I don't need a CDL. Auto or Manual, are there any obvious downsides to one or another?
Are there any bad years to stay away from?
Any preferable engine?
I would like a box truck so when the truck is unloaded I can sleep in the box and not have to worry about setting up tents or worry about the weather. Anyone have tie down configurations for inside a box truck? I am thinking between 20-22 feet in length.
My trailduster is 15' long and I want to put a counter in the front of the box. I figure I would have to strap it down, from the rear forward and from the front towards the rear.
Anyone know the bumper to bumper length of a 41WC as I will get one of those someday as well.
lastly if anyone see's a crew cab international with a 20-22' box, give me a shout under $15k...(there's always a catch)
Thanks,
Pieter
