I bet most of you forget to do this when servicing your truc

According to my 1963 Operator's Manual for Dodge trucks you are supposed to lubricate your tailgate hinge every 2,000 miles.

It also says you should lubricate your seat regulator track at the same interval.

This means that most guys on this forum have been neglecting their trucks for YEARS! :-)

By the way, the list of items that needs to be lubricated every 2,000 miles is almost 2 pages long! I wonder how much the Dodge Dealer charged to do the complete service? :-)
