I wish the Dodge engineers could see your post.
On my '01 CTD DOdge 4X4 2500, the ball joints went bad at 50k miles. From reading Gordon's forum, that is pretty common. It is about a $1k job for having them rebuilt.
That is the only thing I do not like about the new Dodge trucks.
