Your Ramcharger has the same system as my '85 W-250 4X4. it is called RamTrac and is a part time system. It has a Vacuum engaged front differential. Actually the way it works, is the inner axle shafts are 2 piece and are locked in by a vaccum soleniod on the differential. You can put on lockout hubs, but you will still have the vacuum locked axle. You need to swap out the innner axle shafts to solid 1 piece ones and go with lockouts.
