? for those who have v-8'ed the PW/M's

My donor 318 V-8 has a front sump and dipstick. I need to install a rear sump, but notice the rear sump packages have a drivers side dip stick. My dip stick enters into the block and not the oil pan in the front.

I assume the drivers side dipstick mounts into the oil pan, and I'll not have any issues? The part number I'm finding is: DCC-5249060 & DCC-5249062.
