here is a little tip. Make sure the edge where the lid goes back on is real clean. I use the POR15 solvent. Then use Saran wrapto cover and put the lid back on. Actually you aren't supposed to paint from the can as the air/humidity is what cures the POR15. Also when using a "brush" use the sponge type that you use for varnish you will get NO brush strokes.
This whole frame/transfer case also was painted with por15 chassis coat black and natural grey for the other parts.
