Just for those of you in North Carolina, the Legislature amended the section on vehicle inspections to exempt antique vehicles during the last session. The definition of antique is that the vehicle has to be 35 years old or older. M37 owners in North Carolina no longer have to be inspected effective January 1, 2005.

I would suggest that folks in NC who have a vehicle in this category print out a copy for the glove box just in case somebody who hasn't gotten the word questions you...
