I recently aquired a 5 ton 20 ft bed cargo truck (M814) The problem is that the front wheel drive is not always engaged or at least when i need it, it is not engaged. Does anyone know anything about the transfer cases (t138) and transmissions (Spicer 5 speed) in these things? All my manuals (4) leave out the these components. What i know is that it actuated from the transmission by air valves mounted on the transmission. i would like to have a better understanding of the theory of operation before i dive in. PW content M37 is moving wood/ plowing snow. W500 is sitting in the shed getting ready for ice fishing season if the ice gets thick enough (big camper on it, wife and kids go in get warmed up, all the luxuries of home on ice.) thanks jeff
