I have used Mico lever locks, and dual locks for years in the towing business and on my PWs...I have never had one bleed off in less than 4-5 hours of use..I would say if it bleeds off any faster than that you have to rebuild the mico unit or you have a leaky line or other cause in the brake system. I too had a catastrophie years ago when the mico in my 1967 W200 bled off (after sitting 14 hours) and I had not left it in gear..the truck rolled down a hill approx 500 feet taking out three medium (10-12") oak trees and finally going off a 12ft embankment landing on the front winch bumper on a road! It took two wreckers to pull the old girl out!! After straightening the frame (bent behind the cab on both sides) The truck is still in my hands and still has a mico dual lock on it!!
