Terry, I've been thinking about when I did my speedo, and I told you to whatch the glass orientation, Obviously the glass goes one way it's the retainer ring that gets crimped on to the outside of the speedo that has to be oriented properly, or the glass will break. As a matter of fact the night I did mine I was all finished admiring how well it came out and put it on the shelf. The next morning I grabbed it to admire it again and was bummed out to see the glass cracked down the middle, it broke over night. When I disassembled it I realized the metal ring had a little nub on the top that needed to be in a notch in the glass, course I had it the wrong way, too many beers! good luck with yours.
