Paul add that mount into the cab to keep the cab from pulling loose from the frame. A side impact can knock the cab off the frame and only your belts would be conected to you and the frame. I have never seen belts into a car with frames befor. Give that one some more thought. I have seen many with reinforsements in the cab including a threaded hole to bolt them into but none on the frame befor. Mark H.
