The 727 was offered in the 89-early 91 Dodge Cummins Diesel pickups. It was a non-lockup version with beefed up internals and HD torque converter. It also had a deeper pan then a standard Gasser 727. They hold up rather well, infact much better than the A518 OD's With 80 HP you should really have no problem. I would not worry about it, just put it in and run it! My 91 W-250 with Cummins has over 300K on it, and the trans still works fairly well, you can tell it has high miles (has never been pulled), but I could hop in it right now, and drive all over and not worry about it.
