Maybe someone can answer this for me...I'm driving along in a 93 Dodge yesterday & I feel a bad vibration that seems tire related. I took it into the tire shop & told them to pull the wheels & balance them. They were way out of balance according to the machine & the balancing has cured the vibration, but driving to work today I thought of a bit of a mystery...on 1994 & newer dodge trucks the wheels are hubcentric & so I can see why a standard wheel balancing machine will work. 1993 & older Dodge had lugcentric rims....wouldn't balancing them using the center hole put them way out of balance??
I've never seen a wheel balancing machine with adapters to attach to lugs...only ever the steel center cones?
OTM???
