Hello David
I used real tetraethyl lead from two different sources. Both came by the gallon. One was xylene(I think) based and the other kerosene.
I can't remember one of the place's name, but the kero based stuff came from Stone Oil Company and was named Lead Supreme 130, IIRC. I used to by 4 or 5 gallons at a time because of the hazmat charges. I added one quart to 20 gallons to get valve protection, plus some octane boost(domed pistons I should've had turned flat).
