...that's good general advice, but as long as the yokes are parallel it will not effect driveline performance until the angle exceeds about 16 degrees.
If the angle is more, then a CV joint can be used to run even more extreme angles, but the tolerance from parallel cannot exceed 2 degrees or you are in for some good campfire story material....
