Probably, it's not a puller like the Cummins 6, the rpm is too high, but it would make a nice light-medium duty, daily driver. They are probably phasing out the non-Hemi motors and looking for more power with better fuel economy. The CAFE fuel standards are under fire from the enviro's and we do need more independence from arab oil, so it's not a bad move. Despite all the hype about hybrids and electric and other far off in the future modes of power, the engine of the future, is from the past, it's new technology diesel, and bio-diesel hybrids. The new diesels are cleaner burning and more fuel efficient than gasoline.
