Pop Up problems

In the last two days I have had trouble with one pop up. It is a log in for:
adv1.videoprofessor.com
It has my sons email address for a log in, but he has not been on the computer in several weeks, and knows nothing about the site.
I can't seem to get rid of it. Every time I close it, in a few minutes on the web, it will come back, in spite of clearing out the temporary files and cookies. I downloaded googles pop up blocker but it did not work. Any ideas?
