In restoring my spring packs, I was looking for the spacers for the bolts that rest across the top spring leaf. I did not want to use copper tubing as it deforms too easily. Not able to locate NOS or used spacers in any kind of decent condition, I went over to a local metal supply.
He had the idea of taking a long concrete sleeve anchor (steel) and using the sleeve off it. It is a generic brand that is a copy of a "Dynabolt". I am going to use my cut off wheel to cut the sleeves the same length as the original sleeves.
