Curlew is about 28 miles north of Republic. There is an old car and truck museum there, it is owned by Stotze (spelling?), it's right beside Stotze Ready Mix plant. It's right on the Hwy between Republic and Curlew. It's open alot during the summer, but during the winter they have random hours. There is no admission fee, but they do except donations, for viewing. If you stop there and it's closed, go next door to the ready mix plant to see when you could go in. There is some old trucks outside the building you can see any time. The museum is privatly owned by Stotze, but some of the cars and trucks are owned by other people, and they join the museum for a yearly fee and get to park their cars in there to display them and can get them out at any time to drive them. My brother has a 1931 Ford Model A pick-up in there, he likes it, because it's a dry place to store his pick-up and not take up any room in his garage.
