I have been working on getting a 1965 WM300 from the original electric Co-op owners for about 2 years now. The man who showed me the truck said that the co-op board was not sure if they are ready to sell it yet, the hangup seems to be about what to due with the large air compressor on the back of the truck. I made a decent offer back then, and the guy didn't haggle, it isn't going to be his money anyway.
It has about 60K miles, 5.87s, no lockouts, flatbed, MU2 winch, flathead 6, good yellow paint, and the only apparent damage was to the roof from a dynamite blast, it was repaired but not painted. It started easily and ran well, but I did not drive
it. Since I have only owned W-series trucks, I would like to
try and establish a value, I don't want to shoot myself in the foot by paying too little or too much. Any feedback on the value would be helpfull.
