I thought some of you motor heads would be interested in this. On a recent fishing trip in MN I stopped at a place north of Minneapolis I think was called the Ellington Car Museum. It is sort of a collector car sales thing. In the collection they had an engine made for WWII Sherman tanks which consisted of 5 Mopar flat head sixes mounted to a common output shaft. The engines sat at odd angles and fed off of 5 one barrel carbs mounted on top of it. The information posted with it said it was made to fill a critical shortage of air cooled radial engines and that it put out 430 HP. The card also said that the engines ran very well and were quite durable.
