The company is Brown-Lipe, not Brownlipe and this box is probably WAY old. Older than the Spicers like the 5831 & 7231 which are from med. duty trucks of the '60s. There are some of these around but most of the parts are obsolete & ungettable. The Spicers are pretty monstrous for a PW & the case is tall but I know a guy who installed one on its side for better ground clearance. The 5831 is a 3 speed. There are seven different ratio sets. Top gear can be.73, .85, or direct. Under can be 2.35, 2.00, 1.54, or 1.27. Don't know the ratios for the Brown-Lipe.
