When we were kids we lived for 5 years in SLC, Utah. Our dad would take us every June over to Evanston to buy firecrackers to shoot off (illegally) in Utah on July 4.
Nice country around Evanston and to the north. A lot more scenic than Rock Springs and Rawlins imho.
