There are 2 reasons pressure caps are not required (except in desert climates "2 lbs.") the size of the radiator is enormous, when you analyze the design, the other reason is the fan pulley is very small creating very high fan rpms at low engine rpms. this creates massive airflow through the radiator, therefore eliminating the need for high pressure caps. they thought of everything back then. When I am out in the rocks in the summer with my friends in there balzzers, broncos and toyotas, they tend to run hot or overheat, I never do in my 6 bladed WC52
