what year of ford did you have norm.i've put 3/4 million miles on them since 95 and i've had great luck with them.my first one was a f-450 which blew my friends new 94dodgecummins off the road and i carried 5 ton in mine and him having 4 ton in his i could push him up the hills.must of been gearing?and i didn't like the drum brakes or the wimpy frame on his 1ton.but she ran great i do indeed love the cummins,just don't like the rest of package.small crew cab,thin bumpers and sheet metal and the list goes on and on.you must have a had a lemon.
