I have three of these trucks a cargo, wrecker and a crash truck. You have a lot of questions I have a lot of answers but not sure if this is the venue.
By the way your truck has a 2 speed Transfer case and a 5 speed tramsmission with 5 gear OD it is the smaller cousin of the M-5-6. Your axles are single speed Eaton and they are way beefier than the Dodge. Your Motor is either a FB259 or a Blue diamond 269 (BLD269) depending the year built.
I can tell you loads more but the most important thing is they are very rare as rare as a Auburn speedster and they are easy to restore since all the parts came right off the civillian Binder assembly line with some driveline stuff like the mechanics u joints (5C) from the commercial over the road truck vendors. The engines have wet sleeves and can be rebuilt in the frame.
They are a big Red tractor with a Power Wagon face and they deserve to be restored as much as the Power Wagons why because the men that have fed this country with there sweat love them both the same and have worked them for years and years side by side. They are America's working truck.
Buy both trucks build one nice one you will never grow tired of the enjoyment you get from driving your big red tractor.
