Howdy:
I have a freind of mine who recently bought at auction a 1974-77 Dodge D-600 Grain truck. Seeing that scrap metal prices are so high right now, he is considering cutting it up for scrap. I plan to scam the engine-trans, etc out of it, and I am curious as to, weather the front sheetmetal will work on a lighter duty Dodge of the 70's and 80's? As in could I bolt the front clip off this truck to say, a 74 Ramcharger? a 85 W-250 etc? Will be it a easy direct swap? Some little mods? or a huge pain that nothing fits? Years ago, I helped a friend install a 70's F-600 front clip on a 78 Ford F-250 4X4 and it was a 90% bolt on deal. How is Dodge on stuff like this? I think the light duty trucks look quite cool with Medium-HD sheetmetal on the. Thanks for the input!
Power Wagon Update: I have been working lots of OT and have not touch the truck since Sunday........
